Endgame BiS Data Pack for the H/A Bis Tracker

A separate, optional add-on that drops straight into the same folder as the H/A Bis Tracker and unlocks a third scenario — full endgame BiS tracking across every class and spec, sourced from this site's own endgame BiS catalog.

Same tracker window, same real screenshot — the data pack below adds a third scenario right into this exact UI.

The H/A Bis Tracker only ever knew two scenarios: Herald of the Titans and Argent Defender, both capped well below current raid item level on purpose. A lot of you asked for the same tracking — live character preview, have/need rings, tooltip hook, all of it — for actual endgame gearing: full Icecrown Citadel, Ulduar hard modes, Trial of the Grand Crusader, no ilvl ceiling. Rather than bolt that onto the base addon and force everyone to download a much bigger file for content they might not use, it ships as its own separate add-on: a pure data pack that the base tracker detects automatically and lights up as a third scenario.

1.Installing it

Download the pack below and drop the RNBiSTracker_Enhanced folder straight into your Interface/AddOns folder, right alongside your existing RNBiSTracker folder — same level, not nested inside it. It carries no dependency of its own; on your next /reload or client restart, the base tracker's Scenario dropdown gains a new "Endgame BiS" entry and everything else in the tracker — the character preview, alerts, tooltip hook, options — works with it exactly like it already does for Herald/Argent.

If you ever remove the RNBiSTracker_Enhanced folder later, the base addon just quietly drops back to two scenarios — nothing else changes and nothing breaks.

2.What's actually in it

  • All 10 classes, 33 specs, 52 build profiles — every spec that can meaningfully raid, including specs the base Herald/Argent data never needed to cover, like Arcane Mage, Destruction Warlock, Marksmanship Hunter, Beast Mastery Hunter and Subtlety Rogue.
  • 1,053 real items, every one of them a genuine Wowhead-linkable ID — sourced directly from this site's own endgame BiS catalog, not a separate or reduced list. If a slot's pick ever changes on that page, the data pack is the same source of truth.
  • Full ICC, Ulduar and Trial of the Grand Crusader coverage, including hard-mode-only and heroic-only drops where they're genuinely best-in-slot.

3.The orange ring: alternative items, made visible

Endgame BiS almost never has one single correct answer per slot — trinkets, off-pieces and weapons routinely have a real alternative that's close enough to matter, and the base addon's plain green/red rings couldn't tell you that story. This data pack is built around a third ring color: orange means you own a listed alternative rather than the exact primary pick for that slot. Hovering the slot (or the item in the tooltip hook) tells you plainly which alternative you're holding and how it compares, so an orange ring is never a mystery — it's "you're covered, just not with the number one pick."

Green, red and grey keep their existing meaning from the base addon (have exactly the primary item; still needed and it's a real boss drop; still needed but bought, crafted or a quest reward). Orange is the only new state, and it only ever appears when the Endgame BiS scenario is selected.

4.Accurate "have it" tracking, even with alternates in play

Under the hood this took real work to get right: a single item you own is now only ever allocated to one slot, even when that same item is a listed alternative for two or three different slots at once (a common pattern with generic ring and trinket drops). The addon spends each physical copy you own exactly once when deciding what's covered, so you'll never see the same one ring you're wearing claimed as "have it" for two fingers simultaneously.
