How this works
This is based on Professor Putricide's real Icecrown Citadel 25-player Heroic loot table — verified against two independent WotLK 3.3.5a item databases, not guessed. His gear table has exactly 5 possible drops, each really at a flat 20% chance. One "week" here is one simulated kill.
One deliberate exaggeration
Tiny Abomination in a Jar's odds here are lowered to 7% (the other four items pick up the difference, still summing to 100%) — a little extra curse dialed in on purpose, so more people get to feel a bit of what a genuinely unlucky streak is like. At 7% per kill, going 20 weeks without it is still about a 1-in-4 outcome — which is exactly the kind of pain that made Fresh to BiS's real streak so memorable.
