General

2 macros

Warrior General macros support the parts of the class that every specialization shares. This group focuses on fast targeting, clean target swaps and utility without losing your main boss target. They are shortcuts for decisions you already understand; they do not automate a rotation, check resources or decide which raid member deserves a cooldown.

They are most valuable during add waves, interrupt assignments, emergency raid utility and moments when changing target would cost casts or auto-attacks. Build the keybind around the assignment you actually receive in your raid, and keep a normal version of any critical ability available until the macro has been tested on your server.

Keep only the targeting layers you can read instantly. If your raid frames, click-casting addon or nameplates already perform the same job, the shorter normal keybind is often safer.

01

Start attack ability

Starts auto-attacking even when Bloodthirst is unavailable. Replace Bloodthirst with Whirlwind, Devastate, Shield Slam, Mortal Strike or another attack.

#showtooltip Bloodthirst
/startattack
/cast Bloodthirst
03

Focus interrupt

Uses Pummel in Berserker Stance. With a shield equipped, it uses Shield Bash. A valid hostile focus is prioritized.

#showtooltip
/cast [stance:3,@focus,harm,nodead] Pummel; [stance:3] Pummel; [equipped:Shields,@focus,harm,nodead] Shield Bash; Shield Bash

Arms

2 macros

Warrior Arms macros support planned burst, armor-reduction windows and controlled cleave. This group focuses on the spec’s short, deliberate damage windows while retaining control when a boss becomes unsafe to hit. They are shortcuts for decisions you already understand; they do not automate a rotation, check resources or decide which raid member deserves a cooldown.

They are most valuable during Deathbringer Saurfang add control, Valithria target swaps, Lich King transitions and Halion movement. Build the keybind around the assignment you actually receive in your raid, and keep a normal version of any critical ability available until the macro has been tested on your server.

Cancel effects only for a real mechanic. A macro that stops a channel early protects the raid, but careless repeated presses sacrifice a large part of Arms damage.

09

Shattering Throw

Enters Battle Stance and casts Shattering Throw. Press again if the stance transition prevents the cast.

#showtooltip Shattering Throw
/cast [nostance:1] Battle Stance
/cast Shattering Throw
10

Cancel Bladestorm

Ends Bladestorm immediately when movement, target control or a defensive action becomes more important.

/cancelaura Bladestorm

Fury

4 macros

Warrior Fury macros support rage-based queueing, rapid target swaps and temporary defensive weapon changes. This group focuses on keeping both weapons and queued attacks under control without interrupting the core rotation. They are shortcuts for decisions you already understand; they do not automate a rotation, check resources or decide which raid member deserves a cooldown.

They are most valuable during Lady Deathwhisper adds, Gunship cleave, Valithria waves and Halion phase changes. Build the keybind around the assignment you actually receive in your raid, and keep a normal version of any critical ability available until the macro has been tested on your server.

Queue macros consume rage aggressively. Watch rage and do not attach every queued attack to every ability when the encounter requires a reserve for utility.

02

Controlled Heroic Strike/Cleave queue

Casts Bloodthirst normally. Shift also queues Heroic Strike; Ctrl queues Cleave. This is safer than automatically adding Heroic Strike to every ability because it lets you preserve Rage.

#showtooltip Bloodthirst
/startattack
/cast Bloodthirst
/cast [mod:shift] !Heroic Strike; [mod:ctrl] !Cleave
07

Shield Wall equipment macro

Cancels a queued Heroic Strike or Cleave, enters Defensive Stance, equips a shield and attempts Shield Wall. Because stance and equipment changes may trigger short lockouts, spam the macro until Shield Wall activates.

#showtooltip Shield Wall
/stopcasting
/cast [nostance:2] Defensive Stance
/equipslot 16 YOUR ONE-HAND WEAPON
/equipslot 17 YOUR SHIELD
/cast Shield Wall
11

Defensive weapon set

Cancels a queued Heroic Strike/Cleave and equips your defensive weapon set.

/equipslot 16 YOUR ONE-HAND WEAPON
/equipslot 17 YOUR SHIELD
12

Return to Fury weapons

Returns to your normal dual-wield setup.

#showtooltip

/equipslot 16 YOUR MAIN-HAND
/equipslot 17 YOUR OFF-HAND

Protection

4 macros

Warrior Protection macros support tank targeting, rescue movement and defensive equipment. This group focuses on reacting to threat changes and assigned cooldown moments without clicking through raid frames. They are shortcuts for decisions you already understand; they do not automate a rotation, check resources or decide which raid member deserves a cooldown.

They are most valuable during tank swaps, loose Valithria enemies, Lich King adds and physical or magical emergency hits. Build the keybind around the assignment you actually receive in your raid, and keep a normal version of any critical ability available until the macro has been tested on your server.

Equipment swaps can trigger restrictions and reduce mitigation for a moment. Test exact weapon and shield names and keep the normal defensive button available.

04

Mouseover Taunt

Taunts a hostile mouseover without dropping your current target.

#showtooltip Taunt
/cast [@mouseover,harm,nodead][] Taunt
05

Focus Intervene

Enters Defensive Stance and Intervenes to your friendly focus or mouseover. Press again if the stance change prevents Intervene from firing immediately.

#showtooltip Intervene
/cast [nostance:2] Defensive Stance
/cast [@focus,help,nodead][@mouseover,help,nodead] Intervene
06

Vigilance mouseover

Applies Vigilance to a friendly mouseover, focus or target.

#showtooltip Vigilance
/cast [@mouseover,help,nodead][@focus,help,nodead][] Vigilance
08

Spell Reflection equipment macro

Equips a shield and attempts to activate Spell Reflection. Another press may be required after the equipment swap.
